It looks absolutely great on my XSR! Turned out better than expected. I'm 1.87m tall and the screen works well for me, still some wind on my upper torso and head, but hey: it's a naked bike. It does take away quite a lot of wind from the lower torso, which is good enough for me.
Also: very easy to fit, done within 10 minutes.

Directions could have been a little clearer for the US market bike. Came with replacement hardware for eliminating spacers but that wasn’t in the installation instructions. High quality product with great fitment once I figured that out though.

For a 2022 model but if you truly want it 2/3 bracket holes little bending behind factory headlight threads in forks fits well just need to relocate gauge for clearance

I'm in love with this windscreen. It's clear so it doesn't mess with the aesthetics of the XSR, and it's big enough to create a reasonable air pocket.
The airflow is mostly off of my chest. I'd say it's a 50-75% wind reduction?? I can actually tuck behind it if necessary, but for the most part I sit up on the highway and relax.

Screen looks nice on my bike and it does its job in terms of wind protection. I'm pretty tall (1.87) and between 110 and 130 km/h it deviates all the wind pressure away form my chest that was instead present without it. No troubles of too much air on my helmet. Installation was very easy. Only negative is the shipping from UK to Italy. It took about three weeks and I had to pay 20% (VAT?) for custom duty, cash to the postman ("contrassegno").

I was wondering if the tinted shield would obscure the vision, so I have taken the clear. Turns out that it is almost not in your field of view at all. Therefore you dont have to worry about visibility and chose just according to your style preferences

I like the screen which was delivered to Japan swiftly.
I predicted the necessity of longer bolts which was written by some previous customers. However, the enclosed original bolts were sufficient. Thank you for the feedback about the bolts and the reaction taken by DART.
It’s easy to confirm the effect of the screen by putting my left hand in front of my chest when I’m riding. The threshold of the wind pressure is slightly above my stomach level as expected. I can feel the wind pressure difference, needless to say.
I think the screen is effective for reducing my fatigue when I ride on motorways.
I hope an extension screen which can be added to the top of the original screen by bolts will be developed and sold by DART as an optional part. The extension must be helpful in winter.
Additionally, I prefer clear transparent color.

Was a bit nervous when I read the other reviews that it would be difficult to attach. But it isn't. It's really logical.
Dark grey looks good on my racing green and silver model.
Takes the edge of the wintry winds, so I really appreciate it now in January! There was a slight fault at the top edge of the screen, which I picked off with my nail, and I now I hope I didn't alter the structural integrity in any way. But so far so very good!

I got the screen few days ago. I can honestly say, that it makes the bike look even better, I like the quality of materials and the looks of it, but it doesn`t do the job of taking away all the wind. The wind is hitting my upper torso and shoulders and blows under my chin into the helmet. I would recommend the screen if you like the look of it and quality of the product, but if you are looking for something, that will protect you from all the wind, then think about not buying another naked bike. :)

The flyscreen ads a sweet retro feel to the bike, and compliments its style. More importantly though, I really feel that the ride is smoother and sweeter on the highway now. Probably helps with fuel economy a bit too! Price was good, it came quickly, and install was a breeze.

I was hoping for more wind deflection but the design is more for the aesthetics. The Yamaha XSR700 has all that ugly wiring above the head light which this Dart windscreen helps hide but the air flow just curves right over the screen like an airplane wing. It does relieve some of the pressure on my stomach.
I would love a second screen that fits the same metal frame this Dart screen came with. I could put the second screen on when I go on a long trip and could use some serious wind deflection. When I return to the around town, commute, and short distant driving I usually do then I could just put back on the aesthetically pleasing screen with the 4 screws that connect it to the screen frame .

This is my 2nd Dart Marlin, and had to have on my new Yamaha XSR700 after moving on from my Moto Guzzi V7. It fits perfectly and installs in minutes and looks great. The dark tint hides the cables and fits fine with my relocated centered speedometer. I was also impressed that I received it here in the NW of USA from the UK in 5 days!

It took me 20 minutes to install the screen, very easy and the instructions are simple but clear. Other reviews are saying that the M6 20mm screws are not supplied, but these actually came with the package. Not sure if I was lucky or if these are included now.

heard pretty positive things, only thing im worried about is that it makes installing an aftermaket headlight a bit harder as I'll need to source of fabricate new brackets. but as it stands the fitting on stock is excellent

I am 6ft tall, & the sit up & beg style of the XSR Yamaha means the wind load is excessive over 100kph. To reduce wind load on me, I bought the screen, but for me it is not high enough, so it is of limited benefit. The design & quality are excellent.

Very pleased with the screen - it complements the style of the XSR very well and is high enough to significantly reduce wind blast to the torso area. It's a quality item and the 3 point fixing on each side means that it remains totally stable at high speed. The only quibble I have is that the 16mm OEM headlamp bolts are just a little too short to fit the screen brackets securely. I had to change them for 20mm bolts. These really should have been provided with the screen, as others have said.

Looks great, fit perfectly and was easy to install. The quality of the screen is very high, it feels very solid. I dropped my bike a bit and it scratched the side slightly but the screen didn't crack or suffer any seriously noticeable damage.

The whole experience was great! The order arrived quite quickly considering it was coming to Australia, then the packaging itself is really neat, the quality is superb and the looks, well, that’s the best part of it!
One little suggestion, though:
It’s probably a good idea to include a warning regarding fasteners sizes. I had to buy slightly longer screws because the original ones on my bike were not long enough once the brackets are inserted.

Great addition to the overall look of the XSR 700. Had the original "windshield" and was not really enthusiastic about it. This is much better and gives some protection against wind and light drizzling rain. Thumbs up to Dart! Delivery was also quite good and fast.

Well packaged and shipped, easy to fit, looks great and works a treat. Probably reduces the perceived feel of wind on chest and head by an equivalent of about 30 km/hr vs the OEM screen. So 130 km/hr feels more like 100 km/hr etc. So not only easy on the eyes, but very useful! Highly recommended.

The screen is great! once I managed to fit it it has guiven me no issues, looks great, and protects me from the wind the perfect amount! The 3*'s is due to the fact that no longer headlight bracket screws were supplied. This was a bitter dissapointment as i had to pop down to screwfix to get some longer ones.
