I deducted one star because the way the screen support arms attach to the brackets is with a + shaped notch in the aluminum bracket and a matching emboss on the fork brackets. This design works great, but it could be better if there was some adjustability here. Would have been 5 stars if the screen could sit up just 3-4 degrees more vertical.

This would be my second Dart Marlin Flyscreen. I have purchased for my Scrambler XC and now my latest motorcycle Speedmaster. I am 6'1 and this screen actually does help with helmet buffering. With the nature of these bikes, chest wind is unavoidable. This screen will not block those winds but helmet buffering is where its important to block. It will fatigue your body the most on decent trips. Not only it works, but it also looks great. Forever will be a dart head :D

Marlin dark tint fly-screen turned up today from the ‘ole Dart (excuse the pun) in amazing time considering all this COVID nonsense.
I’m taking about 16 days from order to delivery at my front door on the other side of the world. Wonderful service.
10 minutes to mount, then straight out onto the Highway just north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia for a test.
As was hoped all the wind blast on the chest - let’s say if Mr Plod is watching, at highway speeds has gone. I can sit upright as one does on a cruiser, with comfort.
And even just as important ....... looks great on the bike.
A reminder to those with 2021 Speedmasters, order the 47mm collets as the 2021 SM has the larger front forks.

I like the easy fit. I found that the cable retainer for my clutch was useful on the other fork leg to help with the front brake cable position. Set up was easy. I like the improved comfort on the road. Previously my neck area was both cold and wind blown during spring riding. Now I'm much more comfortable at greater speed. I didn't expect full fairing wind protection, but I have to say it's a big difference in terms of comfort at any speed.

This is my second flyscreen from Dart. The first was on a 2009 Bonneville SE. The Marlin I just purchased is on a 2018 Triumph Speedmaster, and it seems to give excellent wind protection, directing the blast around my body and just over the top of my helmet. Looks absolutely fantastic as well. Easy to install, smart looking, great protection, terrific quality.

The Dart flyscreen I purchased for my Triumph Speedmaster 1200 was well packaged. I set about installing it as per clear instructions, but left the polythene wrapper on as much as I could to prevent any acidental scratches during installation. In hindsight, I should have checked the screen first and rejected it as there is 50-60mm of poor/rough finish on the very top of the screen, probably 'flash' from where it was molded, but it is unsightly now I know it's there and reflects light off it in the dark with approaching headlights and streetlights.
I'll probably see how it goes, but my gut feeling is that I'll uninstall and put it down to a poor purchasing decision and a costly one at that.
IMHO it is not worth the money with this poor finish.

Thanks Dart! I was most impressed with the speediness of delivery, less than a week to get from the UK to my home in Canada. The screen and fittings are of highest quality with no faults or defects. The fit is perfect and the finished product looks like a factory part. I am very pleased! It was a very simple job to install the screen, with clear instructions and few tools needed. As for the ride, I have only been able to do a short ride around the block, but even with that I can feel that this is going to make a big difference and improvement to highway rides next season. I am now looking forward to heading out on the highway for some substantial trips knowing that this Dart fly screen is going to provide me with some great protection from wind blast (and flies) next year!

Great instructions, not that many are needed, it truly is a simple DIY task to fit to the Speedmaster.
Fitted the Dart Marlin screen two weeks ago. Easy to fit, no problems at all. Took about 20 minutes start to finish.
Tried setting at highest point on forks, tested it and decided to drop down about 50mm.
Much better, good protection on chest and no head buffeting at all. Took it up to about 85MPH (private road) and real improvement over the Triumph Highway screen. Much nicer to ride with the Marlin and 100% better looking. Have just done 100 + mile ride, varied roads and vastly different to touring screen, much more rigid and better wind protection.
Well impressed with the quality and would recommend to any Speedmaster rider.
Style really suits the bike and really happy with the entire purchase.

Love my Marlin screen. Looks good on the bike and does a better job than the Triumph touring screen. Like better as in less buffeting and a more comfortable ride. Get wind on my head from my nose up is about it. Basically no wind on the chest or shoulders. Thinking if it was an inch or two taller or had a flare at the top it would be perfect.

I bought this principally to reduce wind on my Triumph Speedmaster as I had been turning into a sail at speeds greater than about 60 to 65 mph. And it works like a treat. It really does make a huge difference, even though it’s a relatively small screen. But there are two things I didn’t expect. The first is the extra wind around the side edges (I am now used to this and it’s not so bad) and the second is the increased wind noise. The screen takes the wind off my chest and straight to my helmet. Now I’m searching for ways to either send the wind higher, above my head, or for a quieter helmet! For now, it’s earplugs for me. Still, it’s worth it to be able to ride comfortably at 75 to 80 mph. The screen was very easy to fit, and the quality seems top notch, screen and hardware. And Dart delivered really quickly, so all in all, a success.

Bought the Marlin Dark tint for my 2018 Triumph Speedmaster. Looks incredible. Very easy to install and adjust as needed. I’m 6’0 and it keeps the wind off my torso and just at the top of my shoulders. Much more comfortable riding at highway speeds with the Dart Flyscreen. Extremely good quality and solid fork mounts. I would highly recommend to any of my Triumph brothers or sisters on the Marlin Flyscreen. Much sexier looking than a big cruiser shield (but if Dart made a quick release -fork mount cruiser screen, I’d buy that too!)

The screen looks nice on my Speedmaster. I like that it’s small and sleek. There is a noticeable difference in the amount of wind that was hitting me and I feel less fatigued when riding at 55 or over. I have noticed that the wind is deflected just so it hits me at the base of my helmet but I think I can adjust it a bit to raise that.

I installed the Marlin flyscreen on my 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster - fits perfectly. Does a great job of deflecting the wind over the top of me. Plus it looks like it is part of the bike. I could not be happier. I did not think such a small windscreen would make a big difference at highway speeds but it significantly reduced the wind push on my body. It was easy to fit , and it is very secure. I would have liked a little bit more adjustment, but I suppose that would compromise the security of the fit. I just need a little more height to move the wind flow over my head, it does ,however, take the strain off your arms at higher speeds. I will have to wait until the Spring now to really give it a good test. (fair weather biker)

Very pleased, high quality, low cost, very fast shipment. Also I was very surprised that such a small windshield would deflect so much air. Before installation I had alot of trouble riding 65 mph for over an hour now I can ride 80 mph and not much wind at all, even the rain goes up and over me. I would recommend this windshield to anyone. It took me about 20 min to install and normally I would take thing's like this to the repair shop and pay to have a mechanic do it. So if I can install in 20 min anyone else could probably do it in 15 min. Thank you for a great windshield!!

I replaced the former installed smaller Dart Screen and it is a difference like night and day. I have zero wind impact on my chest and no buffeting around the helmet. Perfect I‘m very happy with the purchase. Greetings from Germany!

Definitely worth the purchase. Does not block the wind, but deflects it so that a long ride feels much better. May not be as good for a taller person but definitely made a difference for me. 5’5”. Also it truly enhances the ascetic of the bike. Such a beautiful addition to an already sexy bike.

I installed the flyscreen a week or so ago and it is just what the Dr. Ordered.
The customer service was on point and it installed very easily.
The wind blasts are lowered considerably and all I feel is a little wind on my face.

Marlin dark tint fly-screen turned up today from the ‘ole Dart (excuse the pun) in amazing time considering all this COVID nonsense.
I’m taking about 16 days from order to delivery at my front door on the other side of the world. Wonderful service.
10 minutes to mount, then straight out onto the Highway just north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia for a test.
As was hoped all the wind blast on the chest - let’s say if Mr Plod is watching, at highway speeds has gone. I can sit upright as one does on a cruiser, with comfort.
And even just as important ....... looks great on the bike.
A reminder to those with 2021 Speedmasters, order the 47mm collets as the 2021 SM has the larger front forks.

I like the easy fit. I found that the cable retainer for my clutch was useful on the other fork leg to help with the front brake cable position. Set up was easy. I like the improved comfort on the road. Previously my neck area was both cold and wind blown during spring riding. Now I'm much more comfortable at greater speed. I didn't expect full fairing wind protection, but I have to say it's a big difference in terms of comfort at any speed.

The Marlin fits "Bonnie" perfectly. Excellent quality and a breeze to install. I think it suits the Speedmaster better than the Triumph windscreen. Also, the delivery from the UK to Canada was only 7 days. Highly recommend this product.

I'm only 5'5" and I installed it as high as it would go. Works perfect. Wind goes right over my head instead of hitting me in the chest. Plus I don't have to hassle with a large windshield.

This is my second flyscreen from Dart. The first was on a 2009 Bonneville SE. The Marlin I just purchased is on a 2018 Triumph Speedmaster, and it seems to give excellent wind protection, directing the blast around my body and just over the top of my helmet. Looks absolutely fantastic as well. Easy to install, smart looking, great protection, terrific quality.

The Dart flyscreen I purchased for my Triumph Speedmaster 1200 was well packaged. I set about installing it as per clear instructions, but left the polythene wrapper on as much as I could to prevent any acidental scratches during installation. In hindsight, I should have checked the screen first and rejected it as there is 50-60mm of poor/rough finish on the very top of the screen, probably 'flash' from where it was molded, but it is unsightly now I know it's there and reflects light off it in the dark with approaching headlights and streetlights.
I'll probably see how it goes, but my gut feeling is that I'll uninstall and put it down to a poor purchasing decision and a costly one at that.
IMHO it is not worth the money with this poor finish.

Thanks Dart! I was most impressed with the speediness of delivery, less than a week to get from the UK to my home in Canada. The screen and fittings are of highest quality with no faults or defects. The fit is perfect and the finished product looks like a factory part. I am very pleased! It was a very simple job to install the screen, with clear instructions and few tools needed. As for the ride, I have only been able to do a short ride around the block, but even with that I can feel that this is going to make a big difference and improvement to highway rides next season. I am now looking forward to heading out on the highway for some substantial trips knowing that this Dart fly screen is going to provide me with some great protection from wind blast (and flies) next year!

Looks great, adds about 10 mph to motorway cruising speed, easy to fit. One of the fork clamps had a slight manufacturing issue, but DART sent out a perfect one the same day. Excellent service!!

Great instructions, not that many are needed, it truly is a simple DIY task to fit to the Speedmaster.
Fitted the Dart Marlin screen two weeks ago. Easy to fit, no problems at all. Took about 20 minutes start to finish.
Tried setting at highest point on forks, tested it and decided to drop down about 50mm.
Much better, good protection on chest and no head buffeting at all. Took it up to about 85MPH (private road) and real improvement over the Triumph Highway screen. Much nicer to ride with the Marlin and 100% better looking. Have just done 100 + mile ride, varied roads and vastly different to touring screen, much more rigid and better wind protection.
Well impressed with the quality and would recommend to any Speedmaster rider.
Style really suits the bike and really happy with the entire purchase.

Love my Marlin screen. Looks good on the bike and does a better job than the Triumph touring screen. Like better as in less buffeting and a more comfortable ride. Get wind on my head from my nose up is about it. Basically no wind on the chest or shoulders. Thinking if it was an inch or two taller or had a flare at the top it would be perfect.

I bought the Marlin model for my 2018 Triumph Speedmaster. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. It looks really good, too. The flyscreen does a good job of blocking much of the wind that used to push against my chest at highway speeds. Thus, highway riding is a bit less tiring now.

I bought this principally to reduce wind on my Triumph Speedmaster as I had been turning into a sail at speeds greater than about 60 to 65 mph. And it works like a treat. It really does make a huge difference, even though it’s a relatively small screen. But there are two things I didn’t expect. The first is the extra wind around the side edges (I am now used to this and it’s not so bad) and the second is the increased wind noise. The screen takes the wind off my chest and straight to my helmet. Now I’m searching for ways to either send the wind higher, above my head, or for a quieter helmet! For now, it’s earplugs for me. Still, it’s worth it to be able to ride comfortably at 75 to 80 mph. The screen was very easy to fit, and the quality seems top notch, screen and hardware. And Dart delivered really quickly, so all in all, a success.

The screen is fantastic, just the right size to keep some wind off and still look great. Installation was pretty easy, although I’d read through the instructions first. There are a couple places where it’s easier to do the next step and then go back to do the previous step. Another person is also useful to hold things in place.

Bought the Marlin Dark tint for my 2018 Triumph Speedmaster. Looks incredible. Very easy to install and adjust as needed. I’m 6’0 and it keeps the wind off my torso and just at the top of my shoulders. Much more comfortable riding at highway speeds with the Dart Flyscreen. Extremely good quality and solid fork mounts. I would highly recommend to any of my Triumph brothers or sisters on the Marlin Flyscreen. Much sexier looking than a big cruiser shield (but if Dart made a quick release -fork mount cruiser screen, I’d buy that too!)

The screen looks nice on my Speedmaster. I like that it’s small and sleek. There is a noticeable difference in the amount of wind that was hitting me and I feel less fatigued when riding at 55 or over. I have noticed that the wind is deflected just so it hits me at the base of my helmet but I think I can adjust it a bit to raise that.

I wanted something to keep the wind off my chest. This windscreen does a perfect job. I never had a windscreen on a motorcycle before, love the feel of the wind and freedom. However, I am planning a longer trip so decide to get some protection. Took a 210 mile test ride, 80 miles at 70 MPH, and I was very happy with the way it performed. I would recommend the Dart windscreen to anyone that wants some protection from the wind, and bugs!

I installed the Marlin flyscreen on my 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster - fits perfectly. Does a great job of deflecting the wind over the top of me. Plus it looks like it is part of the bike. I could not be happier. I did not think such a small windscreen would make a big difference at highway speeds but it significantly reduced the wind push on my body. I still feel some wind on my shoulders and helmet but I expected that with a small screen. The quality is top notch and installation took just a few minutes.

It was easy to fit , and it is very secure. I would have liked a little bit more adjustment, but I suppose that would compromise the security of the fit. I just need a little more height to move the wind flow over my head, it does ,however, take the strain off your arms at higher speeds. I will have to wait until the Spring now to really give it a good test. (fair weather biker)

Very pleased, high quality, low cost, very fast shipment. Also I was very surprised that such a small windshield would deflect so much air. Before installation I had alot of trouble riding 65 mph for over an hour now I can ride 80 mph and not much wind at all, even the rain goes up and over me. I would recommend this windshield to anyone. It took me about 20 min to install and normally I would take thing's like this to the repair shop and pay to have a mechanic do it. So if I can install in 20 min anyone else could probably do it in 15 min. Thank you for a great windshield!!
