Very impressed with the product. It was delivered within three days of ordering. I had looked at Youtube videos regarding the fitting and there were recommendations to remove the headlight to ensure access to the bolts using the required Allen key however, with a little bit of patience it was fitted without removing the headlight. Looks great!

I have a 2023 Yamaha XSR 900. At time of purchase Dart had not yet come out (and now mid-April ‘23 still hasn’t- but they are working on it) with the brackets to fit the 3rd Gen, 2022 and up XSRs. I knew this going in and would have to modify their existing one to fit, but after seeing another review where they also made it work I did the same. The Marlin windscreen on this bike not only looks fantastic, it makes a substantial difference on the wind buffeting on this naked sport bike at speed. Once Dart comes out with the updated brackets for the current generation I’ll buy them. In the meantime, if anyone has this same bike and wants to see the simple and inexpensive mod to make it work, see my post on the FZ09.org forums here:

The Dart Fly Screen...it was my last modification this season and it turned out to be my best. It was not as big as I had imagined but that turned out to be surprisingly perfect.
The screen is well made and the brackets align beautifully with the OEM headlamp bracket. Although I nervously tried to avoid removing the headlamp, it proved to be a win as the screen is on tight and I now know how to remove the XSR headlight! This fly screen really cuts the wind to my chest on the highway, and looks great on my motorcycle. So far so good Dart, looking forward to getting another one for my wife's bike next season.

I ordered the dark smoke marlin for my brand new 2021 XSR900 and had to cancel my order after a month due to unforeseen delay in bracket parts. I was able to cancel my Dart order and found a local online retailer in the US that shipped it for free the next day! Just the look I was going for - my only gripe is how the brackets are bolted to the headlight mounts - i wish the brackets were formed to fit w/o the use of the long metal spacers, but I guess it is what it is. I ended up dropping the headlamp bucket and the rear plastic trim and was able to sinch all 4 bolts with a ratchet. It does take some micro adjustments to the brackets when bolting down so the screen sits even. Now to road test it...can't wait! Thanks again for the wonderful customer service by Annette!

After waiting over 40 days in international travel during the covid crisis it was worth the wait just in time for Mother’s Day rides to loved ones. I’m 5’10” and The marlin mitigates the wind deflecting to my shoulders and gives me just enough room to tuck when necessary. I was very pleased there was no helmet buffeting and didn’t have to fight headwinds at highway speeds anymore. No other way for this city bike to tackle the long highway stretches of blacktop stretching for miles from Kansas City

Marlin windscreen looks great on my 2019 Yamaha XSR900. In use it keeps wind pressure off my chest leaving a nice smooth flow on my helmet. Install was easy, though I suggest removing the headlight. Great purchase.

The Dart Marlin fly screen was an easy install and looks great on the bike. Sadly, I was rearended at freeway speeds just a few days after installing the flyscreen. The bike and I both came out of the collision a little worse for wear but the flyscreen was totaled. I will need to buy another one soon.

Simple to install and look like a stock item. I highly recommend it but take in consideration that it will not stop all front wind, but it will cover your chest and overall it will not reflect the wind to your helmet.

Bolts right on. No disassembly or modification required. Installation could be easier using hex head bolts due to Allen wrench clearance between the bracket and headlight. Low profile Allen wrench or cutting one down will make installation a breeze.

It's a good product with easy instalation. Makes a big diference in the ride, with less wind in the chest. It gives a great look without taking the "naked effect" on the bike.
If I could change anything, I would give some way to regulate the a few lateral angle and height.

Amazing Screen, I'm a bit tall so the windscreen kind of blasts me in the face but does an amazing job of dampening the wind gusts against my chest. Only complaints; Either the frames or molding of the screen is slightly off, so there is a mild leftward cant that is not normally noticeable except by someone obnoxiously OCD. Also, the aluminum spacers provided are already starting to corrode.

Screen is great on an XSR900 . It is large enough to be effective and the curve suits the bike.
Horrible cold wet days down in New Zealand at the moment and this is my commuter.
Plus my radar detector stays nice a dry just above the headlight.

Firstly, was very impressed by the packaging, which reminded me of the way Apple products are presented, and was equally impressed once I saw the excellent quality of the product, which was Dark tint (as requested), not Light tint as shown here and was also incorrectly stated as such on invoice.
I was very impressed with all of the Materials used for the screen and small frame, but I think the instructions should clearly state how to fit the screen, which it does not!
There is insufficient room to fit the screen without unscrewing the headlight; this is not a big deal but should simply state that it is required!
