Great screen and easy to install, on reflection I would have liked another 2inches on top and a bit more on the width.

Stylish alternative to the oversized OEM windshield. Does a good job of keeping the wind off my chest, although I find myself tucking behind it a higher speeds. Overall I’m very satisfied.

Upgrade for the Look and for the comfort

I am 188 cm tall (6.2 ft), of course it would block more wind, if it was taller, but it would ruin the looks. It blocks enough wind to wear less layers under the jacket. Wind hits me at my neck and head instead of the whole upper body. I think the bike is more stable at higher speeds. Very good, quality product, and customer service was also excellent.

Works great I think. Does not look “too big” and takes away sufficient wind pressure. Off course it doesn’t take all of it but works great up to around 80 km/h. For my need it’s perfect.

Good screen at an affordable price. Fittings work well and tidy.

For the first time in years, i wish i could give more than 5 stars. Had 2 original scout wind shields, original ones, both of them were huge and not effective. Took a chance with this one after hearing about it from a friend, and Wow!! This thing is like magic! Riding over the normal speed limits ;-) where i can, windy days, you name it, i can’t feel it! :-) amazing design, i’m 6ft tall, no buffeting, no noise, no nothing, amazing design! And keeps the look which is so important. Great work guys, you did something truly amazing!

A lot of wind hitting my face, but definitely reduces wind on my chest and gets rid of head bobble at highway speeds that I had with big windshield.

I just got this new Indian Scout. The only problem I was having with it is I didn't like the winds hitting me at higher speeds. I felt like I had to hang on to the bike. After installing the flyscreen it made a huge difference. I could relax and enjoy the ride. It also gives my mounted cell phone a nice little spot out of the wind too.

I love the Dart Marlin on my Indian Scout Bobber Sixty! The classic did not provide enough protection but the Marlin does. It gets the wind off my chest and stomach. Makes ridding at highway speed much easier. No hanging on for dear life anymore. I painted the back of mine to match my bike. Great screen!

Easy install!

Excellent materials and build quality. Takes enough wind off of the torso so don’t need to “hang on” at speed giving a more relaxing and less tiring ride without increased head buffeting.

Exactly what I was looking for! Keeps the bike looking classic. It gives me the protection I'm looking for while enhancing the look of the bike. I’ve already received complements from other riders.

Wind screen had a chip on the bottom of it. Emailed customer service 3x requesting for an exchange and never got a reply.

This review is for the Marlin on a 2018 Indian Scout Bobber with relocated headlamp and wire cover. First off, I ordered from the US. The actual shipping time took about 3 weeks. Just know USPS sucks and it will sit for about 10 days in customs. This is no fault of Dart and has no bearing on the review of the product. I just wish I had known this first. I probably should have known anyway. The actual windscreen is pretty good but I did hope for a little better. The wind hits me at the shoulders and feels a bit odd. I suspect Ill get used to this. I can duck down a bit if I really need to. However, I no long feel like I am being pushed off the bike at high speeds. I do have it as high as it can go but I wish It could give me another inch or two. Honesty though, anything larger would start to look ridiculous on this bike. This bike is supposed to have a stripped down look so this is an acceptable compromise. If I wanted maximum comfort Id buy a full sized bagger. This price is great too. What I found annoying with other windscreens on other sites is that you have to buy the screen and the mount separately with no real direction on which goes with what. This came all in one and was half the total cost of the others and only took a few minutes to install. However, I really didnt save money as I had to buy the headlamp relocation kit ($100) and the wire cover ($50). This is all fine with me though. I like the look of this on my bike and I would recommend it to others.

I installed the Dart Flyscreen on my Indian Scout. TLDR - Buy It, it’s a great product and well worth the money. I’ve installed fairings on my Harleys and fairings on my Vespa. None came close to the quality, and design of the Dart Flyscreen. Shipping was really fast. Shipping was so fast, I had no idea it delivered - the carrier left the package where I would never look - so it was 8 days after delivery before I realized I had the item…LOL. The packaging was fantastic, well protected without any waste. I even got a free sticker. Then - wait for it - the Dart Flyscreen came with easy to follow DIRECTIONS and installation took around 15 frustration free minutes. The Italians don’t bother with directions, so installing their screens takes over an hour and at least 3 beers. I believe this is their idea of a joke. My roots are Italian, so it’s ok. I get it. I guess. The overall quality of the Dart Flyscreen, including the hardware, is fantastic. The design is well thought out and it’s clear Dart sweated the details. Honestly, I’m surprised it’s as affordable as it is, given no corners were cut. Hats off to Dart. After installation, I stepped back and took a look at the screen - looks really nice. Not dorky. The overall lines of my Indian are not ruined. As for use - the Dart Flyscreen does what it’s supposed to do and blocks a bit of wind from my chest. I may need to adjust mine a bit up or down, because right now it directs a bit too much wind at my neck. But it’s easy to adjust so that will not be an issue. Bottom line, I can go down the freeway more easily without feeling like a parachute. Overall Rating - Very, Very good, worth the money, and I highly recommend. I wish it blocked more wind, but that would require a larger fairing - and that would not look as nice - Physics being physics and all. I’m not a paid promoter, I received nothing for free. No kickbacks. A Dart employee is not mowing my lawn as I submit this. This is just my honest assessment of the Dart Flyscreen. If the above resonates with you - buy the Dart Flyscreen with confidence!

I bought the tinted version with the intention of getting a vinyl wrap on it. It looks awesome blacked out and now I’m wait for the snow to melt to try it out.

Can't actually ride the bike until spring, but I'm impressed with the high quality of the screen and the mounting bits and pieces. It was easy to install and looks great.

I bought the dart because I wanted something that was easy to take off and on and when on not real large, after a few rides and adjusting, this screen does the trick even at speeds of the ...ahem...speed limit.

Great product. Received in a week from across the pond. I'm 6 ft tall. Wasn't expecting the air to be diverted up and over my head but it does. Love your product and it looks sexy on my Indian scout. I was concerned the petrol blue would be too dark but it's not. Ride safe out there y'all !

Great air management, Shifts air off chest to arms. No buffeting, just clean air at the helmet.

This fly screen by Dart is awesome. The quality is too-notch and it looks great on my wife’s nee Indian Scout. It does a good job of deflecting the wind.

This fits my Scout Sixty perfectly. I didn't want to block all the wind, but I wanted to reduce the pressure on my chest.

Looks great and works well. It's obviously not the tallest screen, so don't expect miracles. For those not willing to sacrifice too much style for function, it does hit that sweet spot.

This is my second purchase. I now have the Classic and the Marlin and I can confirm that you can feel the difference especially from 80km/h. The service was very fast (GB to Switzerland in 5 days including customs clearance...which costs about 32 USD). But it's worthy. The quality is very good as is the service of the guys at Dart and the assembly is a simple matter. I recommend it to Indian Scout owners.

Love the windshield love the quality love the looks but overall would like to see the marlin a little bit taller for more wind protection....would buy again though

I did a lot of research before I settled on the Dart Marlin for my 2020 Indian Scout Bobber 60. Didn't want my bike to look like an old man's bike either. This marlin screen looks badass!

I originally ordered the blacked out, but was sent this one. I wish I would have went with the smaller one, but this works. It's nice to be able to go 70mph and not get tired so fast and feel the wind so strong. I also like that I can take it off and put it back on in less than 10 min. It's worth the $160 I have a few people that will be ordering it this next summer.

Easy to install. Perfect protection for the body without turbulences on the head. And looks great!

It was smaller than I expected, but fit perfect and the quality is amazing and it's super easy to put on the bike. I do have less wind I can go 70mph and it feels 80% better, Unfortunately due to being tall and sitting high on my bike I can't get it to go any higher. I'm happy with it tho. The quality and price are unbeatable.

The product looks great on the bike (Indian Scout) and the quality very good. It helps reduce the amount of wind on my torso/chest for local riding. But I think I'll need a larger screen for long distance and highway riding. Dart should consider making a larger screen.

Night and day difference moved the wind just high enough to stop chest and head buffeting, im 6'2 loving it and its looks like it came with the bike!

Just got my new-to-me 2015 Scout a couple weeks ago, and it came with a windshield that was so big it looked like a surfboard. I tried riding without one at all, but during autumn in the Dakotas the wind is just constant, so I ordered the Marlin flyscreen after seeing a few videos where people recommended it. It came in a couple days ago and I immediately ran out to the garage to assemble and install it. Assembly was a snap, and installation was easier than that, if you can believe it. Took it out for a quick 4-exit rip on the highway, and then did some around town stop-and-go traffic, and it performed admirably. moved all the wind from my torso and dead smack in the face to the top of my helmet, and even that was quite manageable at 75 mph/120.7 kph. Not to mention it looks just SO much better than the old windshield. All in all I can't recommend it enough.

Love it! Still trying to figure out as far as placement and wind. I have a 2020 Indian Scout Bobber Sixty with 10" Mini apes and also trying to figure out how to get my front fok tool baf to fit. Other than that this thing is soooo worth it.

The windscreen is designed for regular scout you will need to remove head cowl of your bobber I did for mine. Everything fit like a glove and it keeps the wind off your chest. Tested on hwy going 190kph by someone.

The best part of the dart Marlin fly screen is that at the correct angle, it doesn't take away from the look of the bike. To some, it may even make it look better! To me, it does degrade the look of the bike because after all: the scout isn't meant to be a full on touring motorcycle. But that's not a bad thing. Taste is subjective. Now to the review the actual functionality of the product... It makes such a huge difference. I've outfitted mine to where my thumb fits right in between the clamps and the top of the fork. I will say I do believe I need to raise it just a tad bit, for as of right now it buffets right on my neck. Raising it just a tad bit should take care of that issue. I'm 5'10" just for reference.

I purchased the light tinted version and love how it looks on my Scout. I wanted to keep the vintage feel and was not crazy about most of the bulky looking windshields that are available for my bike. It also helps keep the wind from buffeting me and still allows some airflow to keep me cooler in hot weather. It was a great investment!

I was looking for the perfect small, efficient, discrete and good looking windshield for my Indian Scout and Dart was the exact match. Nice size and color, it really improves the riding as the bike is more stable on high speed turns. And with my 10" Black Apes the looks are amazing.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have an Indian Scout Sixty and needed something to take some of the wind off on highway runs without ruining the lines of a smaller, non-touring style bike. This took me from white knuckles and core-exhausting wind at 70-80mph to about what you get around 50mph without a screen and still looks great. The photo is with mini apes and I went with the dark tint.

Just got the Marlin fly screen and fits and looks great. Hi quality materials and hardware function as good or better than OEM. I had a small issue with the screen when it arrived but the staff took cere of it quickly without a hitch. I was never much of a wind screen rider but this one is the perfect balance of function without killing the open air feel. I highly recommend if you’re looking for function and looks without being overbearing.

Extremely happy with the screen. It fitted perfectly and was easy to fit. Once fitted, it is very solid. The screen and the brackets are very good quality. Makes riding at higher speeds much more comfortable. Highly recommended.
