I bought the classic Flyscreen in black for my 2019 Moto Guzzi V7 III. The install was quick, intuitive and mostly straightforward except that the holes in the brackets didn’t align with the bolt holes in the screen which I remedied by carefully bending the brackets inward to line the holes up. Love the quality and the look. And delivery to our rural Canadian home was fast! Great job Dart!

It is missing maybe just an inch for meaningful shelter from the elements. I realize there is an option that is one size taller. Maybe it would have been good to get a recommendation for a size to pic, based on the expected benefit.

It mounts on my V7 850 Special but it's not a perfect fit; its lean angle is a bit too forward. It was expected for this was really meant for a V7 III. I had to grind a bit of material from the brackets to make the screen lean a bit more backward. No big deal. It now fits better but as soon as Dart releases a bracket intended for the V7 850 Special, I will likely order one (if they will allow a bracket-only purchase).

For my bike Moto Guzzi V111 Special it needs to be one inch taller. The air flow is ok until you get over 60 mph and then the air hits you in the chest. The major highways are 70 mph and the traffic travels about 80 mph. Around town and the local highways the screen is perfect. Windscreen looks very good on a Moto Guzzi V7 special - no hindrance to the classic naked motorcycle look at all. I was expecting it to be a little taller and provide slightly better wind protection though (I am 172cm tall, so not a big guy). Its very discreet, but for touring I would want the next size up... In fact, I ordered that screen too and can swap them out easily as needed. Once the backs are in place, going back and forth between two screens might be a thing to consider.

I had a Triumph Bonneville several years ago to which I fitted a Dart flatscreen. When I purchased a V7 III I knew that i would want one on that bike too. This is an outstanding product. Very smooth and clear polycarbonate. Stout brackets (aluminum, maybe 3mm) that don't move around at all. On my Moto Guzzi (2016 V7 II Special), the mounting holes line up perfectly, zero coercion needed. The shoulder screws with the little flange at the bottom of the unthreaded part are a thoughtful touch.
The size of the Classic is just about perfect for a V7 and a 1.7m rider. Sure you can get more coverage with a bigger screen, and you can look badder with a smaller screen, but life's a compromise, you gotta draw the line somewhere, and for me and the Guzzi, the Classic is in the Goldilocks Zone.

I've been wanting to kit out my V7 quite some time with a shield and after researching the options, all signs pointed to DART. The cost may seem high, but the quality in the production is obvious. The install is simple and took me 10 minutes. I would acknowledge that this screen is primarily aesthetic, in addition to being an instrument guard. If you are looking for substantial wind deflection, consider into the Marlin.

Nice windscreen with great looks. It was easy to mount on my V7 III. I don't feel much wind reducing. Perhaps the bigger marlin screen is a better choice to keep the wind off your body. I like the classic screen because it looks great on my Guzzi and the light tint was the right choice!

Phase one of customizing my 2017 Moto Guzzi V7 III Special.
Dart Classic flyscreen was an excellent addition. Lowered the headlight assembly slightly so the top of the flyscreen is just barely higher than the instrument cluster. Also black anodized the hardware to match the black screen.

Unfortunately, the screen did not keep its promise and offered virtually no wind protection while the customer service only made matters worse.
Once installed on my Guzzi V7III there was absolutely no change and I still couldn't go faster than 65 without being bashed by wind.
According to customer service this is because my clip-on handlebars change my sitting position but, sadly, the screen offered no protection no matter in which position I sat. And I tried them all because I wanted it this screen to work!
I was then promised to be contacted again with a solution but never heard back. Waste of money for me.

The screen works as expected and it's easy to install. It helps to reduce the impact of wind at the chest level and protects the GPS from the wind blast.
It's important to understand that it's not a touring screen and it should not be viewed as such.

This is an outstanding product. Very smooth and clear polycarbonate. Stout brackets (aluminum, maybe 3mm) that don't move around at all. On my Moto Guzzi (2016 V7 II Special), the mounting holes line up perfectly, zero coercion needed. The shoulder screws with the little flange at the bottom of the unthreaded part are a thoughtful touch.
The size of the Classic is just about perfect for a V7 and a 1.7m rider. Sure you can get more coverage with a bigger screen, and you can look badder with a smaller screen, but life's a compromise, you gotta draw the line somewhere, and for me and the Guzzi, the Classic is in the Goldilocks Zone.

I've been wanting to kit out my V7 quite some time with a shield and after researching the options, all signs pointed to DART. The cost may seem high, but the quality in the production is obvious. The install is simple and took me 10 minutes. I would acknowledge that this screen is primarily aesthetic, in addition to being an instrument guard. If you are looking for substantial wind deflection, consider into the Marlin.

Nice windscreen with great looks. It was easy to mount on my V7 III. I don't feel much wind reducing. Perhaps the bigger marlin screen is a better choice to keep the wind off your body. I like the classic screen because it looks great on my Guzzi and the light tint was the right choice!

Dart Classic flyscreen was an excellent addition. Lowered the headlight assembly slightly so the top of the flyscreen is just barely higher than the instrument cluster. Also black anodized the hardware to match the black screen.

Unfortunately, the screen did not keep its promise and offered virtually no wind protection while the customer service only made matters worse.
Once installed on my Guzzi V7III there was absolutely no change and I still couldn't go faster than 65 without being bashed by wind.
According to customer service this is because my clip-on handlebars change my sitting position but, sadly, the screen offered no protection no matter in which position I sat. And I tried them all because I wanted it this screen to work!
I was then promised to be contacted again with a solution but never heard back. Waste of money for me.

The screen works as expected and it's easy to install. It helps to reduce the impact of wind at the chest level and protects the GPS from the wind blast.
It's important to understand that it's not a touring screen and it should not be viewed as such.

I bought the classic Flyscreen in black for my 2019 Moto Guzzi V7 III. The install was quick, intuitive and mostly straightforward except that the holes in the brackets didn’t align with the bolt holes in the screen which I remedied by carefully bending the brackets inward to line the holes up. Love the quality and the look. And delivery to our rural Canadian home was fast! Great job Dart!

I wasn't sure which screen would suit so bought Classic and Marlin. Found classic better suited for me, Marlin created more bufferting. I am 6 foot, think will suit shorter rider. Looks great, have had them before.

It is missing maybe just an inch for meaningful shelter from the elements. I realize there is an option that is one size taller. Maybe it would have been good to get a recommendation for a size to pic, based on the expected benefit.

It mounts on my V7 850 Special but it's not a perfect fit; its lean angle is a bit too forward. It was expected for this was really meant for a V7 III. I had to grind a bit of material from the brackets to make the screen lean a bit more backward. No big deal. It now fits better but as soon as Dart releases a bracket intended for the V7 850 Special, I will likely order one (if they will allow a bracket-only purchase).

For my bike Moto Guzzi V111 Special it needs to be one inch taller. The air flow is ok until you get over 60 mph and then the air hits you in the chest. The major highways are 70 mph and the traffic travels about 80 mph. Around town and the local highways the screen is perfect. I know you have another screen but it looks a little bit too tall for the bike. Your delivery was much faster than I expected. Thank you, all the best, Ian

Pops on my V7 here with the Classic Flyscreen - Actually reduced wind more than I expected when I road out to Julian, CA recently. Looks great, works great, and great customer service from Dart Team.
Installation was very easy - takes about 3 minutes.
I will most likely get the larger Marlin screen to use just for longer trips. (Yosemite)

Windscreen looks very good on a Moto Guzzi V7 special - no hindrance to the classic naked motorcycle look at all. I was expecting it to be a little taller and provide slightly better wind protection though (I am 172cm tall, so not a big guy). Its very discreet, but for touring I would want the next size up... In fact, I ordered that screen too and can swap them out easily as needed. Once the backs are in place, going back and forth between two screens might be a thing to consider.

I had a Triumph Bonneville several years ago to which I fitted a Dart flatscreen. When I purchased a V7 III I knew that i would want one on that bike too. It defects enough wind to take the load off my chest at speeds over 80 kph, and as a friend said today, it saves having to clean the bugs off the back of the clocks.

When installing on my 2018 Moto Guzzi V7 lll, I found small surface lines near the mounting holes, oh no scratches! until I read your enclosed note that these were "knit marks" and that these do not affect the strength or performance.
